Soundscape is a playlist sharing app designed to introduce you to music loved by the people you know and the places you go. It's music sharing and discovery, based on your world.
Why? Because music isn't just background noise. It defines moments, shapes memories, and fuels connections. Every person, brand, and celebrity has their own unique sound identity. We all craft playlists that tell our stories, power our routines, and express who we are. At Soundscape, we believe that's worth sharing.
Spotify and Apple Music have got streaming covered. That's not Soundscape. We are a platform making interpersonal music sharing and discovery the norm again.
In a world full of disconnected algorithms and AI playlists that show us more of the same, Soundscape cuts through the noise. We make it easy to discover the music tastes and playlists of real people and real places, not an algorithm.
Our Team
Soundscape was founded at Wesleyan University by Daniel and Annabelle in 2022 with a mission to make music sharing easier, more personal, and a seamless part of our daily lives. Frustrated by how difficult it still was to discover and share music with the people and places that matter most, we created Soundscape. We all have unique, curated Soundscapes that compliment our lives, why not share them?
